News: EMS, IRT responds to incident on I-405 in north Bothell

KING COUNTY, WA — Crews responded to a traffic incident Friday afternoon, blocking a right lane on Interstate 405 near north Bothell, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The event was reported on the southbound interstate at State Route 527, near a large shopping center. It was first reported by the WSDOT at 2:15 p.m.

No further details on the circumstances behind the incident have been shared, but the WSDOT initially indicated a vehicle was disabled and blocking the right lane.

Shortly after, EMS and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team had arrived on the scene, though no injuries have been confirmed as of this writing.

By 2:44 p.m., about half an hour later, the scene had cleared from the roadway.
