News: Emergency crews investigate crash in South Lake Union  

SEATTLE, WA – Emergency crews are investigating the details behind a crash that happened in the South Lake Union area on Friday. 

According to the Seattle Fire Real Time 911 traffic blotter, the collision happened at the southbound Interstate 5 and Mercer Street connector, and warranted a response from Seattle firefighters who arrived at the scene after 2:30 p.m. 

Officials did not confirm how the collision unfolded or say how many people and vehicles were involved. 

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
