News: Early-morning collision blocks lane on I-5 at 196th St.

SEATTLE, WA – An early-morning crash blocked at least one lane along I-5 in north Seattle on Tuesday.

According to a tweet by Washington State DoT, the accident took place at about 6:25 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate near 196th Street Southwest.

On I-5 southbound just south of 196th St SW there is a collision blocking the right lane.

It is unclear what led up to the crash or how many vehicles were involved at this time. However, the right lane was blocked for some time after the crash.

No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the collision.
