News: DUI suspect, 1 other injured in two-vehicle crash near Renton intersection

KING COUNTY, WA — Two people, including a DUI suspect, were hospitalized Tuesday night after a collision on Southwest Grady Way in southwest Renton, reports FOX 13 Seattle.

The crash occurred in the 1200 block of the road near Oaksdale Avenue Southwest, at about 8:40 p.m.

Details are limited, but the Renton Police Department said one driver appeared to be under the influence when their car was involved in a crash with another vehicle. Crews were called to the scene to extricate at least two people due to significant vehicle damage.

The suspected impaired driver, who suffered serious injuries, was transported to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. At this time, authorities have not indicated whether any passengers were involved.

No pending charges have been reported as of this writing.
