News: Drivers crash over guardrail, block lane on I-405 near Renton

KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle accident Tuesday morning closed an HOV lane on Interstate 405 near Renton, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.

On I-405 northbound at SR 167 there is a collision blocking the HOV lane.

The crash happened on the northbound lanes of the interstate near State Route 167. It was first reported by WSDOT shortly before 9:00 a.m.

A photo shared by ABC Seattle traffic anchor Tyrah Majors shows two dark-colored pickup trucks at rest over the center divider. It was not immediately clear whether anyone was seriously hurt, but two pedestrians can be seen standing outside the wrecked vehicles.
