News: Driver treated at scene of wreck on Highland Park Way in West Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A 36-year-old driver sustained what appeared to be minor injuries due to a collision last Saturday afternoon, August 24, in West Seattle’s Riverview neighborhood, according to West Seattle Blog.

The accident took place near the bottom of the hill of Highland Park Way, near Pioneer Industries, as indicated by the photo shared on WSB. It was first reported at around 3:38 p.m., when the Seattle Fire Department had already cleared the scene.

While the events leading up to the wreck remain unclear, SFD officials indicated the driver had crashed into a nearby utility pole. The driver received treatment at the scene but was not ultimately transported to a hospital, suggesting more minor injuries.

No other occupants were reported hurt, and no charges or citations were immediately reported.
