News: Driver slams into guardrail on SR-522

SEATTLE, WA – Minor injuries were reported following a major single-vehicle collision near I-405 Tuesday morning.

According to a tweet by WSP, the accident occurred at about 7:51 a.m. along the ramp from SR-522 to I-405.

Troopers believe the driver of a silver sedan fell asleep behind the wheel when he crashed head-on into a guardrail. The force of the impact wedged the sedan under the guardrail.

Fortunately, the driver sustained only minor injuries in the crash. No one else was hurt as a result.
