News: Driver sent to hospital after All-Star bus strikes hotel building in SeaTac

KING COUNTY, WA — One person was taken to a hospital for an evaluation Sunday night after an All-Star bus crashed into a Double Tree Hotel building in SeaTac, reports FOX 13 Seattle.

The King County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene off International Boulevard South shortly before 9:30 p.m.

Few details have been shared, but a preliminary investigation indicates the driver mistook the accelerator for the brake, causing the bus to slam into the building.

Deputies arrived to find the front-end of the magenta bus crashed against the structure.

The driver, who was the sole occupant of the bus at the time, was transported to an area hospital as a precautionary measure. No one in the hotel was reported injured.

An investigation was underway, but officials said the driver displayed no signs of intoxication at the scene.
