News: Driver killed after striking tree in Belfair

BELFAIR, WA – A motorist was killed yesterday evening when their vehicle collided with a tree alongside SR-3 in Belfair, according to local media reports.

#UPDATE: Traffic is being alternated near tonight’s tragic 1-car, fatality collision on SR 3 near Judy Lane in #Belfair.

The driver was south on SR 3, left the roadway in a curve & struck a tree.

Washington State Patrol District 8 PIO Chelsea Hodgson says that the motorist was traveling south on SR-3 when they lost control of their vehicle near Judy Lane. The vehicle ran off the roadway and collided with a tree, killing the driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.
