News: Driver injured after crashing into parked car in west Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A man in his late 70s was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after crashing his car into a parked pickup truck near the North Admiral area in west Seattle, reports West Seattle Blog.

Seattle police and Seattle Fire crews both responded to the scene on the 1400 block of Alki Avenue Southwest at around 2:29 p.m.

A photo shared by West Seattle Blog shows the front end of a silver sedan wrecked against the back of a dark-colored pickup truck. Significant fender and hood damage can be seen on the causing car, suggesting a serious crash.

The involved driver, an elderly man, was transported by SFD to Harborview Medical Center and was reported to have been in stable condition at the time he arrived.
