News: Driver hurt in semi rollover wreck on I-405 near Southcenter

KING COUNTY, WA — One person was injured Tuesday morning when their semi-truck overturned on Interstate 405 near the Westfield Southcenter shopping mall in Tukwila, reports KOMO News.

The collision occurred on the northbound interstate just north of I-5 and was first reported by the Washington State Patrol at 9:06 a.m.

Details are limited, but Tukwila fire crews said the truck driver suffered minor injuries. It was unclear whether the patient required transport to a hospital.

The two right northbound lanes were blocked for about two hours during the response and investigation.

Commuters were warned of long delays in the area.
