News: Driver hospitalized following 3-vehicle crash on SR-702

TACOMA, WA – One person was hospitalized following a collision involving several vehicles on SR-702 Wednesday afternoon.

According to a tweet by WSP, the accident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. near the intersection with 40th Avenue South.

Details regarding the cause of the crash are unclear at this time. However, all lanes along this portion of SR-702 were blocked as a result. All lanes were reopened by 7:30 p.m.
