News: Driver hospitalized after two-vehicle crash over I-5 in Everett

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — One person was seriously injured Saturday evening after a two-vehicle collision in Everett’s Port Gardner area, according to My Everett News.

Everett police and fire crews responded to the scene on the 41st Street overpass at approximately 6:30 p.m.

It is unclear what led up to the accident, but one driver was left trapped in their vehicle after a car and a truck collided.

Crews worked to extricate the driver from the wreck before transporting the victim to Providence Regional Medical Center.

No other injuries were reported, and no further information has been disclosed on the condition of the injured driver.

An investigation was underway by detectives with the Everett Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit.
