SKAGIT COUNTY, WA – A driver struck and killed a motorcyclist at Chuckanut Dr and Sunset Rd on Sunday, according to FOX 13.
A 70-year-old woman was heading north on Chuckanut Dr when she tried to turn left onto Sunset Rd and collided with Freddy Blondel as he rode a motorcycle south around 2:21 p.m.
Rescue crews pronounced Blondel dead at the scene.
The Washington State Patrol is investigating the incident. They believe the cause of the wreck was failure to yield.
