COVINGTON, WA – A driver fell asleep while driving, which caused their semi-truck to overturn and spill out several pounds of candy on Thursday.
Washington State Patrol reported the rollover crash at 5:43 a.m., saying it occurred on the westbound State Route 18 near State Route 516, according to KomoNews.
Transportation crews stabilized the overturned truck and have since removed it from the scene. Despite the nature of the rollover crash, the driver was spared from injuries.
