News: Driver ejected from vehicle, seriously injured after crash on SR-167

SUMNER, WA – A motorist was seriously injured following a rollover collision on SR-167 near 40th Street SE, according to the Washington State Patrol.

WSP District 1 PIO Trooper Robert Reyer reported the incident at 5:37 p.m. on March 18. According to his tweet, the injured driver was being treated at the scene for serious injuries. While the victim was presumably taken to a hospital, we do not have confirmation on that at this time.

Traffic in the area was affected as emergency crews and state troopers tended to the injured motorist and provided support.
