SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A driver was critically injured Wednesday morning after a single-vehicle collision on Interstate 5 near Stanwood, according to KOMO News.
The accident took place on the southbound lanes of I-5 near the merge to state Route 532. It was first reported at 11:44 a.m. by Trooper Rocky Oliphant with Washington State Patrol.
It is unclear what led up to the crash, but the involved vehicle came to rest off the side of the road.
The driver was reported to be in critical condition.
The event closed all southbound lanes and all traffic was detoured through SR-532.
