SNOHOMISH, WA – A driver was hurt after they crashed into a tree on S Machias Rd on Friday, according to KIRO 7.
The driver plowed into the tree around 10:50 p.m. The car was on fire when first responders arrived. Emergency crews extinguished the fire and extricated the driver from the vehicle using the jaws of life.
Paramedics transported the driver to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities believe speed was a factor in the collision.
