News: Driver crashes into home in Capitol Hill

SEATTLE, WA – According to KIRO 7, a driver was hurt when he slammed into a home near 15th Ave E and E Aloha St on Sunday.

An 80-year-old man crashed into the home around 4:30 a.m. The wreck caused the exterior of the home to catch on fire.

Fire crews extinguished the fire, and paramedics transported the driver to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Nobody was home at the time of the collision, and no one else was hurt.

Authorities are investigating the time of the crash.
