News: Driver collides with power pole in Tacoma

TACOMA, WA – A driver collided with a power pole on E. Portland Ave on Monday afternoon, affecting traffic in the area for just under an hour.

According to the Tacoma Police Department’s Twitter feed, the accident happened on E Portland Avenue at the intersection with E 38th Street around 3:53 p.m.

Authorities shut down E. Portland Avenue between E 38th and E 40th Streets for less than an hour.

No injuries were reported.
