News: Driver collides with 2 vehicles in the gore point on Interstate 405 in Renton

RENTON, WA – According to Trooper Rick Johnson, two drivers were injured in a multiple-vehicle collision at northbound Interstate 405 and Washington 167 on Tuesday.

This was the earlier crash NB 405 and 167. The Rivian and Tesla were at the gore point changing a tire when the driver of a Subaru had a medical episode and struck the vehicles. One of the driver’s in serious condition at Harborview, another one has a broken leg. pic.twitter.com/ekjk9jByr9

The driver of a Subaru was heading north on Interstate 405 when they had a medical episode and collided with a Rivian and a Tesla that was in the gore point changing a tire around 5 p.m.

First responders transported one driver to an area hospital in serious condition. Another driver has a broken leg.

Officials have not released the victims’ names.

The Washington State Patrol is investigating the incident.
