LYNWOOD, WA – According to KIRO 7, authorities arrested a driver for DUI after they collided with a trooper’s patrol vehicle on I-5 NB on Monday.
The trooper was merging onto I-5 after impounding an abandoned vehicle that had been left on the freeway when a driver rear-ended the trooper around 2:25 a.m.
The trooper suffered minor injuries in the collision.
Authorities booked the driver into the Snohomish County Jail and charged DUI.
