News: Driver arrested after head-on collision in Airway Heights

SPOKANE, WA – Washington State Patrol say a man was arrested for vehicular assault after a head-on crash in Airway Heights Saturday left the suspect and another driver hospitalized, reports Fox 28 Spokane.

Authorities stated 29-year-old Duckhein Joseph of Spokane Valley was intoxicated and driving recklessly on Highway 2 when the accident occurred. Joseph’s vehicle crossed the centerline of the roadway and collided head-on with a car turning onto South Spotted Road Saturday evening. Both Joseph and a 65-year old woman from the other vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital for injuries.

Washington State Patrol troopers say Joseph was arrested for vehicular assault following the accident.
