PUYALLUP, WA – According to FOX 13, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a deadly hit-and-run collision that killed a motorcyclist near Canyon Road E and 144th St E on Saturday.
The victim slammed into the back of a pickup truck on Canyon Rd E around 9:20 p.m. A second vehicle then ran over the motorcyclist before fleeing the scene.
Deputies are asking the public for help identifying the second driver. The suspect’s vehicle is a dark SUV with a spare tire mounted on the rear. A witness told deputies the vehicle might have been an Isuzu Rodeo.
Authorities urge anyone with information about the incident to call 911.
