News: Cyclist struck, injured by vehicle on NE 85th St. in Kirkland

KIRKLAND, WA – Authorities looking into a crash that left a cyclist with serious injuries last Friday, April 14th.

According to KIRO, the incident took place around midnight on Friday in the 11700 block of eastbound Northeast 85th Street, just west of I-405. Video footage from the scene revealed evidence markers scattered around a bicycle on the road.

The bicyclist was transported to Harborview Medical Center. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown but may be severe and life-altering.

The driver involved remained at the crash site. Police stated they they were cooperative and did not show signs of impairment.
