NORTH BEND, WA – A cyclist suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash that happened along Twin Falls Middle School on Saturday, May 9.
King5 first reported the incident on Tuesday, May 19, and said the suspect remains at large.
The King County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Southeast 140th Street and 463rd Avenue. Deputies said the cyclist was traveling on the shoulder of the southbound SE 140th when they were struck by the suspect’s vehicle.
Deputies said the suspect, who they believed was driving a 2024-2026 black Jeep Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer, immediately fled the scene. Their passenger side mirror also fell apart and is missing.
The cyclist’s current physical condition was not disclosed.
