News: Crews respond to wreck on E Marginal Way S in Industrial District

SEATTLE, WA — A crash Friday morning closed two northbound lanes of East Marginal Way South in Seattle’s Industrial District, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.

The accident happened at the intersection with South Dawson Street and was first reported by SDOT at 10:28 a.m.

While local officials have not disclosed the cause and nature of the wreck, the closure remained in place for over 30 minutes.

A photo captured at the scene shows at least one fire engine responding, though no major injuries have been confirmed at this time.

By 11:05 a.m., crews had clear the scene from the roadway and all travel lanes were reopened.
