News: Crews respond to dump truck crash at Maple Valley building

KING COUNTY, WA — Major property damage was reported Friday morning after a dump truck slammed into a building in Maple Valley, according to KOMO News.

The accident occurred in the 26600 block of Maple Valley Black Diamond Road Southeast. Members of Puget Sound Fire responded to the scene shortly after 9:00 a.m.

Officials did not say what caused the wreck, but no injuries to the driver or anyone in the building were reported. However, the structure, which appears to be an eye care center, sustained extensive damage.

Authorities continue to investigate. No charges have been reported at this time.
