News: Crews respond to crash on I-90 WB offramp near Judkins Park

SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were called to a crash Thursday afternoon on an Interstate 90 exit ramp near Seattle’s Judkins Park area, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The accident occurred on the Exit 3B ramp connecting I-90 westbound to Rainier Avenue South. It was first reported by WSDOT at 1:55 p.m.

Details remain limited, but the ramp was at least partially blocked off in the immediate aftermath. Shortly after 2:00 p.m., local firefighters and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team had responded to the scene, completely closing the ramp. Motorists were advised to find alternate routes around the area.

It was unclear whether anyone was seriously hurt, but footage captured at the site show at least one fire engine blocking the entrance of the ramp.

By 2:46 p.m., about 50 minutes after the initial report, crews had cleared the scene and all lanes on the ramp were reopened to traffic.
