SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle accident Tuesday morning closed a right center lane on a span of Interstate 90 in Seattle’s Mount Baker Tunnel, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.
The crash happened on the westbound lanes just east of Rainier Avenue South, in the city’s Judkins Park neighborhood. It was first reported by WSDOT at 8:45 a.m.
On I-90 westbound just east of Rainier Ave S there is a collision blocking the right center lane.

It was not immediately clear what caused the wreck or how many vehicles were involved, but WSDOT’s Incident Response Team (IRT) was en route to the scene.
Shortly after 9:00 a.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
