News: Crews called to two-vehicle crash on Delridge Way in West Seattle

WEST SEATTLE, WA — Seattle police and firefighters responded to a collision Monday evening in West Seattle’s South Delridge neighborhood, according to West Seattle Blog.

The accident was reported at the intersection of Delridge Way Southwest and Southwest Trenton Street. First responders arrived on the scene shortly after 7:14 p.m.

Officials have not released a statement regarding the cause of the wreck, but two vehicles were involved. Witnesses said one vehicle came to rest over a curb of a sidewalk, close up against a building. Another car came to a stop in the middle of the roadway, blocking southbound Delridge Way.

Despite considerable damage to both vehicles, no one appeared to have been seriously injured.

As late as 7:56 p.m., all eastbound lanes of Trenton Street were blocked as tow crews arrived to clear the wreckage.

No charges have been reported at this time.
