SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle accident was reported late Tuesday on 15th Avenue Northeast in Seattle’s University District, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The collision occurred on the northbound lanes of the road at the intersection with Northeast Campus Parkway, near the University of Washington’s Henry Art Gallery. It was first recorded by SDOT at 11:04 p.m.
Officials did not immediately share what led up to the wreck, but all of northbound 15th Avenue Northeast was blocked during the emergency response. Motorists were asked to use extra caution in the area and seek alternate routes.

By 11:42 p.m., nearly 40 minutes later, crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were announced reopened.
No serious injuries have been confirmed at this time.
