News: Crews called to collision on I-405 NB at SR-520 in Bellevue

KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle accident Friday afternoon closed multiple lanes on Interstate 405 near northwest Bellevue, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The wreck occurred on the northbound interstate at the State Route 520 interchange. It was first recorded by WSDOT at 3:30 p.m.

While authorities have not disclosed the cause of the wreck, the three right lanes were blocked in the immediate aftermath. Footage captured at the scene shows a traffic backup forming behind the crash site.

Emergency crews were called, but it was not immediately clear whether anyone was injured.
