News: Crash involving motorcycle and car leads to two DUI arrests on SR 12

TACOMA, WA. – A collision involving a motorcycle and car at State Route 12 and Monte Brady Road led to two separate DUI arrests on Wednesday night.

According to Q13 Fox, a car collided with a motorcycle, severely injuring the rider. The motorist briefly fled the scene, but returned later, where he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The motorcyclist was airlifted to Seattle Harborview Medical Center for treatment.

While authorities were investigating the scene, another driver failed to navigate a detour and lost control of their vehicle, almost striking a state trooper on the scene. The vehicle came to rest in a nearby field, and the driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
