News: Crash closes section of Aurora Ave N in north Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle wreck early Monday closed all southbound lanes of Aurora Avenue North in Seattle’s Licton Springs neighborhood, reports KIRO 7 Seattle.

The accident occurred at the intersection with North 100th Street. It was first reported by the Seattle Department of Transportation at 4:44 a.m.

At this time, officials have not released information on the cause of the crash or the parties involved.

By 5:20 a.m., more than 30 minutes later, the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.

It remains unclear at this time whether anyone was seriously hurt.
