News: Crash blocks part of N Northgate Way at Meridian Ave N in north Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were called to a collision Wednesday morning that closed part of North Northgate Way in Seattle’s Northgate neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.

The accident occurred at the intersection with Meridian Avenue North, in an area just west of the Interstate 5 ramps. It was first reported by SDOT at 6:14 a.m.

While no information regarding the circumstances of the event has been made available, the intersection remained at least partially blocked for over 50 minutes.

As of this writing, no significant injuries or hospital transports from the scene have been confirmed.
