News: Crash blocks lane on I-5 SB near north Marysville

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A vehicle accident Tuesday morning closed a right lane on Interstate 5 near the Lakewood Crossing shopping mall in north Marysville, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.

On I-5 southbound just south of EB 172nd St there is a collision blocking the right lane.

The collision occurred on the southbound lanes of I-5 past 172nd Street and west of Arlington. It was first reported by WSDOT at 10:55 p.m.

Video footage captured at the scene shows two police cruisers and at least two other emergency vehicles responding as traffic detours through the left lanes.

By 11:54 p.m., the scene was reported cleared with all lanes reopened to traffic.
