News: Couple shuts down Lake Forest Park fro-yo shop after DUI crash 

LAKE FOREST PARK, WA – A married couple had to shut down their Lake Forest Park fro-yo shop after a DUI crash that happened last month, Kiro7 reports.

The collision occurred on Highway 99 in Edmonds on Sunday, Feb. 8. It was there that the DUI driver, who was said to have traveled 60 mph to 70 mph, ran a red light and rear-ended the SUV occupied by the married couple.

The couple, identified as Uyanga and Ari Altanbagana, were transported to a hospital.

The woman, Uyanga, was released from the hospital, while her husband, Ari, remains in critical condition at the ICU. Ari is recovering from broken ribs, a pelvic fracture, and bruised organs. Uyanga suffered a fractured tailbone.

It’s not immediately clear if and when the alleged DUI driver was arrested and what charges they will face.
