News: Collision closes two lanes on I-405 SB near south Bellevue

KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle crash early Wednesday afternoon blocked two lanes on Interstate 405 near south Bellevue’s Hazelwood area, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.

The accident occurred on the southbound lanes just south of Lake Washington Boulevard Southeast. It was first reported by WSDOT at 1:35 p.m.

Few details have been provided at this time, but the event impacted the HOV lane and the left general purpose lane.

On I-405 southbound just south of Lake Washington Blvd there is a collision blocking the HOV lane and the left general purpose lane.

As of this writing, authorities have not confirmed the number of vehicles involved or any injuries sustained.
