News: Collision closes lane on I-5 Express SB near Seattle’s University District

SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle collision Friday morning blocked a left lane on Interstate 5 Express near Seattle’s University District, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.

The accident happened on the southbound lanes of the I-5 Express heading toward the Ship Canal Bridge. It was first reported by WSDOT shortly before 7:00 a.m.

Update 6:54 AM : On the I-5 southbound express lanes at NE 42nd St there is a collision blocking the left lane.
