News: Collision blocks lane on E Marginal Way S near King County International Airport

SEATTLE, WA — Authorities responded to a crash Monday morning near King County International Airport – Boeing Field in Seattle’s Georgetown area, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.

The accident occurred on a stretch of East Marginal Way South at 14th Avenue South. It was first recorded by SDOT at 8:09 a.m.

Little information has been made available at this time, but authorities had the right southbound lane blocked for more than three hours, suggesting a major wreck and a more involved emergency response.

By 11:21 a.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all travel lanes were reopened to normal traffic.
