News: Collision blocks lane on E Marginal Way in Industrial District

SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were called to a crash Tuesday morning on East Marginal Way in Seattle’s Industrial District, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.

The accident happened at the intersection with South Dawson Street and was first recorded by SDOT at 8:44 a.m.

No information has been shared indicating the cause and nature of the wreck, but the right southbound lane on East Marginal Way was closed for nearly 40 minutes.

A photo taken at the scene shows a white passenger vehicle at rest along the right shoulder. It was not immediately clear whether any other vehicles were impacted.

By 9:25 a.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway, leaving all lanes open to traffic.

No major injuries have been confirmed as of this writing.
