News: Car vs motorcycle crash closes part of SR-7 NB in Parkland

PIERCE COUNTY, WA — A motorcyclist was involved in a crash with a car late last Wednesday afternoon in south Parkland, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The accident happened on a stretch of State Route 7 near Garfield Street South and was first recorded by WSDOT at 4:16 p.m.

While the cause and nature of the wreck was not immediately apparent, all northbound lanes were closed in the area as emergency crews responded.

Following the incident, officials have not indicated the condition of the rider or driver.
