News: Brake failure to blame in three-vehicle crash in Seattle, police say 

SEATTLE, WA – A brake failure was a contributing factor behind a three-vehicle crash that happened along Washington Park Playfield on Thursday. 

Seattle Police told Capitol Hill Seattle that the incident unfolded on the 2700th block of East Roy Street. The driver of a car was going down East Roy when they experienced a brake failure, which led to a crash with two vehicles. 

One occupied vehicle crashed into a lawn, and a parked car was pushed into the sidewalk.

Seattle Fire & EMS transported two people to a hospital for medical evaluation, while two others were uninjured. 

Intoxication was not suspected in the collision.
