News: Authorities respond to rollover crash on westbound West Seattle Bridge

SEATTLE, WA — A woman was able to safely exit her vehicle after it overturned Tuesday afternoon on the West Seattle Bridge into West Seattle, according to West Seattle Blog.

The rollover crash happened on the westbound lanes at the bridge’s west end, near the pullout to the “Walking on Logs” sculpture by Philip Levine. Seattle Police and Seattle Fire Department crews responded to the scene shortly after 1:53 p.m.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the accident, but the vehicle’s female driver was reported to be “safely out of her vehicle” at the time of the initial WSB report. No other occupants or vehicles appear to have been involved.

While authorities did not indicate whether the woman required transport to a hospital, no travel lanes were blocked by the incident.
