KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon closed part of a State Route 522 exit ramp near the University of Washington Bothell, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The crash happened on the ramp connecting SR-522 westbound to Campus Way Northeast. It was first reported by WSDOT at 1:40 p.m.
Few details have been made available, but local firefighters and Bothell Police responded to the scene, where the ramp’s left lane was closed to traffic.
Footage taken in the area indicate several emergency vehicles were dispatched, but authorities have not confirmed any major injuries in the incident.
Motorists were told to expect delays as they approach the area.

By 2:47 p.m., more than an hour later, crews had cleared the scene, and all lanes on the ramp were reopened to traffic.
