News: Authorities respond to crash on Greenwood Ave N in north Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — A crash Thursday night blocked parts of Greenwood Avenue North in north Seattle’s Bitter Lake neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.

The accident happened at the intersection with North 127th Street and was first reported by SDOT at 8:56 p.m.

While the circumstances of the event have not been provided, both northbound and southbound left lanes were shut down in the immediate aftermath.

By 10:04 p.m., more than an hour later, crews had removed the scene from the roadway, leaving all travel lanes open to traffic.

Authorities did not immediately reported any related injuries.
