News: Authorities investigate fatal collision on Pacific Ave in Tacoma

PIERCE COUNTY, WA — At least one person died as a result of a crash Friday afternoon on Pacific Avenue in Tacoma, according to FOX 13 Seattle.

Tacoma Police reported about the accident at the intersection of S 35th Street at about 3:48 p.m.

Little information has been provided, but part of Pacific Avenue from South 34th Street to South 37th Street was shut down during the emergency response and investigation. Motorists were asked to seek other routes around the scene.

By 6:17 p.m., all lanes were reopened to the public.

As of this writing, officials have not confirmed the number of those killed or injured.
