News: At least 1 left injured after hit-and-run on E Yesler Way in east Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — Injuries were reported late Friday afternoon following a hit-and-run collision in east Seattle’s Leschi neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department call log.

The incident was reported on East Yesler Way at the intersection with Martin Luther King Jr Way South. Officers with the department’s East Precinct were dispatched to the scene after receiving a call at around 3:33 p.m.

Little information has been made available at this time, but officials listed the event as a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) in which at least one party fled the scene.

While at least one person has been confirmed hurt as a result of the crash, the severity of their condition has not been disclosed.
