News: At least 1 left hurt after hit-and-run on S Walden St in Mt Baker area

SEATTLE, WA — Authorities responded to an injury crash involving a hit-and-run driver Wednesday afternoon in Seattle’s Mount Baker neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The incident was reported at the intersection of South Walden Street and Rainer Avenue South, near Mekong Asian Market. Officers with the department’s South Precinct were called to the scene at about 3:44 p.m.

Few details have been provided at this time, but police dispatchers listed the event as a motor vehicle collision with injuries. It was unclear how many vehicles were involved, but at least one person fled the crash site before authorities arrived.
